The cassette seals are generally made up of a sleeve, sealing lip with a spring and several anti-dust lips integrated into a labyrinth system to protect against external pollution, and are distinguished by greater system reliability and longevity. Furthermore, their friction surface, which has been adjusted and finished beforehand, does not require any shaft maintenance during replacement. cassette seals deliver durable sealing reliability in demanding applications. These complex rotary seals are used in harsh environments under extreme operating conditions to shield and exclude contaminants such as wash down spray on gear reducers used in food processing, and environmental debris common in mining, agriculture and power generation equipment. Cassette seals feature multiple sealing contact points with the advantages of a fully incorporated, unitized design. Sealing elements ride on an internal sealing surface. This minimizes shaft finish requirements and eliminates shaft grooving.
